This course is for young people and 16-25 who have attended a school or college provision for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, studying at pre-entry level and/or entry level 1 and who are likely to need continued support throughout their working life. The aim of this course is to provide students with the opportunities to develop transferable communication skills and generic work skills. Classes are small, enabling students to work at their own level and speed. Students attend weekly tutorials and reviews are held with students, parents/carers and relevant support agencies to discuss and plan future steps.
