UPDATED 20160623 10:31:09

Ethos of the Degree Structure Year 1 The modules in the first year provide the knowledge and key skills required by people in any field of management. There is a work experience placement of approximately eight-weeks between Year One and Year Two when the knowledge and skills developed in the first year can be put into practice and then developed further during the second year. Year 2 The emphasis in Year 2 is on the applied vocational nature of the programme where students are encouraged to apply their knowledge and skills to real world practical problems and their solution. Throughout the course, particular attention is paid to interpersonal and transferable skills - the attributes looked for by employers when recruiting new graduates. At the end of the second year, successful students will graduate with a Foundation Degree in Business Management.
