Advanced Apprenticeship in Business Administration

This training programme is intended for apprentices progressing from the Intermediate Level Apprenticeship or for those with some experience of working in or providing support within a business and/or office environment. The programme is suitable for job roles such as administration executives/officers, administration team leaders, personal assistants and secretaries, including legal or medical secretaries. This training programme is mainly delivered and assessed in the workplace. There are also monthly off the job workshops held at Farnborough College of Technology. Subjects Covered The programme covers a range of administrative duties and includes five components: 1. NVQ Diploma in Business and Administration Level 3: optional units to meet business needs Mandatory Units: Work in a business environment Manage your own performance in a business environment Evaluate and improve own performance in a business environment Communicate in business environment Optional Units choose 3: Operate credit control procedures Ensure own actions reduce Health & Safety risks Meet, welcome and manage visitors Solve business problems Work with others in a business environment Contribute to decision-making in a business environment Supervise a team in a business environment 2. Technical Certificate: Certificate in Principles of Business and Administration Level 3 3. Functional Skills: English, Maths and ICT Level 2 4. Employment Rights & Responsibilities Workbook 5. Personal Thinking & Learning Skills
