Law - AS

UPDATED 20160622 15:05:29

Law is a fascinating and highly relevant A Level which not only develops your ability to analyse critically and argue effectively, but informs you of your rights and responsibilities and how to enforce them. At AS Level, you will learn about how our legal system works and the people who make it work. We cover civil and criminal courts and how both Parliament and judges make the law that affects us on a daily basis. For example, if the police stop you coming out of a nightclub and want to search you, what rights do you have? Supposing you are found guilty by a court: will you get a light sentence just because you are a young offender?
