If you wish to study a mathematical science at a competitive university then this course is for you. The course leads to two A-levels; in Mathematics, and in Further Mathematics. The course extends what you have covered at school, as well as introducing you to important new ideas and methods. You will study a combination of seven pure and five applied modules over two years. In the first year you will study further pure mathematics, learning about complex numbers, matrices and vector algebra.
