Having completed a suitable Diploma in Sports Massage at Level 3 this course will further develop your understanding of advanced anatomical physiological physchological pathological and nutritional aspects of sports massage. In addition you will develop and apply advanced palpation skills for postural analysis and range of movement assessment. A log of a specified number of treatment hours is required for completion of the course. Professional and vocational qualifications lead to accreditation be it from an examining body such as City & Guilds or Edexcel or professional recognition such as from Construction Skills or Lantra. The Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) recognises vocational achievement through the attainment of credits for units of study and for whole qualifications. The smallest qualification is the Award then the Certificate and the largest is the Diploma although there are other intermediate qualifications also available. The duration of study will typically reflect the size of the qualification.
