Who is the course for? The course is open to anyone wishing to enter the Health, Care and Early Years fields though it is particularly geared towards those interested in a career or further study in childcare. What can it lead to? Students who successfully complete the Level 1 can progress onto the Level 2 Diploma for Progression for Health,Care and Early Years, the Level 2 Certificate for the Children and Young People's Workforce and other level 2 programmes. What will I study? Units on the course may include: Sharing Learning Experiences With Children Respecting & Valuing Children Listening & Talking with a Young Child Healthy Eating for Families Students will also study literacy, numeracy and ICT and a workshop may be attached.
