Who is the course for? If you like working with computers, enjoy solving problems using logical, analytical thinking and enjoy hands on practical work then this course is for you. What can it lead to? The BTEC 90-credit Diploma course is equivalent to 3 AS-levels and carries up to 210 UCAS points depending on your final grade. It can lead to a job in the IT sector or a place on an the second year of the BTEC Extended Diploma in IT. What will I study? You will learn how to create websites, animations, games, spreadsheets and databases. You will also develop practical skills in computer hardware and networking. There are 9 units to study.
