Who is the course for? For those students who have successfully completed AS and wish to extend their knowledge of what drives politics and policies of governments, not just in the UK but worldwide. What can it lead to? University, jobs in the public sector or in employment where politics would be an advantage, such as in Journalism or working in the mass media. What will I study? Political Ideologies including an examination of Socialism, Conservatism, Liberalism and Nationalism both in the context of work politics and the UK. In addition an examination of other Ideologies such as Anarchism, Feminism, Multiculturism and Environmentalism.
