On the AS law programme you will learn the process of how laws are created in the UK by parliament and the judiciary, the role of the judge and jury in a Criminal Court case as well as examining how disputes are resolved and the people involved in the different forms of dispute resolution. You will explore criminal and civil liability and be introduced to the law of negligence and will gain practical knowledge of how to bring an action for personal injury against an employer or a supermarket. You will also learn about criminal sanctions and civil remedies.
