You will learn: Applying scientific principles to practical RAC and HP systems Commissioning and troubleshooting complex RAC systems Work planning and organisation for RAC and HP systems Electrical power and control for RAC and HP systems Handling fluorinated gases and ozone depleting substances On successful completion you will awarded a C&G L3 Diploma 7189 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.The qualification requires a candidate to demonstrate a level of competence on refrigeration or air conditioning systems. This is the City & Guilds 7189 Diploma Level 3 in refrigeration or air conditioning. Candidates will build a portfolio of college based evidence, and be assessed on areas of service, maintenance and installation of refrigeration and air conditioning systems. They will carry out various tasks within the college to prove competence to the College assessors. The course is assessed by practical assessments, theory tests and assignments.Successful candidates can progress on to further Building Services qualifications.
