The Extended Diplomaisperfect for you if you already havea Subsidiary Diploma in Healthand SocialCare and want to extend on this. In conjunction with the Subsidiary Diploma, the Diploma is equivalent to two A levels and the Extended Diploma is equivalent to three. The courses combine theoretical study in College and vocational practice in a variety of settings, including hospitals. You will be required to complete work placements in various settings. Placements can be anywhere in the Bradford district and you will have to be prepared to travel to experience a range of healthcare settings. Level 3 qualifications are a recognised route into university and many of our learners progress onto Higher Education courses such as Nursing, Social Work, Radiography and Counselling.
