Childcare 2 - Level 2 will suit you if you work, or are about to work, in a supporting role as a nursery assistant, creche worker or special educational needs assistant. You want to work with children, but you'll generally work under supervision. This course is made up of mandatory and optional units which are based on both skills and knowledge. As part of the qualification you will be required to carry out an independent study You will attend college once a week for three hours and also be working or undertaking a voluntary placement for a minimum of 9 hours a week
