Students will study the followings six mandatory units: Monitor procedures to safely control work operations; promote additional products or services to customers; provide body massage treatments; provide stone therapy treatments; monitor clients and the operation of sauna, steam and hydrotherapy treatments; provide body wrapping and flotation treatments. There is also the opportunity to study optional units in: Facial Electrics, Body Electrics, Massage using pre-blended aromatherapy oils and Indian Head Massage. At times, all students will be expected to introduce new clients to the salon in order to help with practical assessments.
