If you have a creative mind and a keen interest in developing your understanding of digital and traditional techniques of photography and graphic based communication then this course may be for you. Prior experience of using Macs and Adobe Applications is not required but you will need to explore and develop new skills in this area during the initial stages of the course. You will also need to have an interest in the work of other artists, as well as an ability to recognise and appreciate others' skills and working methods. You will need to take advice and criticism and be open to other people's tastes and design needs; some projects will expect you to take on subjects such as equality and diversity and global issues.
