This is a part time course aimed at 16-18 year old full time students who are passionate about netball. You will have the chance to develop an in-depth understanding of netball, whilst engaging in a bespoke programme of study. The course allows for a wide range of academic choice, with your education as the primary focus. In practical sessions you will develop a range of skills, to include technical, coaching, umpiring and fitness. You must be prepared for a mixture of theory and practical work specific to the progression of your netball skills, team work and your sporting development. We are opening our new Netball Academy with the aim of providing a vocational and academic qualification, whilst developing and defining netball talents. The Academy has strong links with local netball clubs and schools. We will encourage students to join teams at club level and above, in addition to college netball.
