The ILM Level 2 Diploma in Team Leading develops the core competences needed by team leaders in today's dynamic business world. It will enable you to gain recognition of skills in a wide range of team leading tasks e.G. managing personal development, developing working relationships with colleagues, communicating information and knowledge, setting objectives and providing support for team members plus the planning, allocating and monitoring work of a team. With the inclusion of optional units, you can tailor the Diploma to suit your role. Units of study within this qualification will allow you to develop essential basic knowledge of the various roles, functions and responsibilities of a team leader and the limits of their authority and accountability. Practical techniques are explored in motivating teams and planning and monitoring work. You are able to choose from a diverse range of optional units to custom build your qualification focusing on the key areas of team leading that are most relevant to our specific role, industry or organisation. From exploring induction and coaching in the workplace, to dealing with customers lawfully, the ILM Team Leading qualification can be fully tailored to meet your needs within your particular sector. As part of the Apprenticeship you will also be required to work towards Functional Skills in Maths, English, ICT and Employment Rights and Responsibilities.
