Food Service Level 2 NVQ Diploma Apprenticeship

This apprenticeship is designed for individuals employed in the hospitality industry serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks who need to develop or consolidate their skills. You are required to take three mandatory units which cover aspects of maintaining a safe, hygienic and secure working environment, working effectively as part of a hospitality team and giving customers a positive impression. You then have a choice of a wide range of optional units covering different beverage areas such as wine service, cocktail service & bar service. This allows you to tailor the apprenticeship to meet the needs of your work place. In addition to the Diploma in Beverage Service, you will study Level 2 Certificate in Hospitality & Catering Principles (Beverage Service), employment rights and responsibilities plus personal learning & thinking skills. As part of the Apprenticeship you will also be required to work towards Functional Skills in Maths and English.
