Children and Young People's Workforce (Early Years Pathway)Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3

This qualification is designed to build the knowledge and skills needed when working with children and young people from birth to 19 years. It covers a diverse range of job roles and occupational areas and this is the Early Years Pathway. The qualification is made up of 11 Mandatory core units and a combination of pathway and optional units which allows the apprenticeship to be tailored to meet the requirements of the individual job role. There is an optional unit 'Understand how to set up a home based child care service' which can be taken as a stand- alone unit for those who wish to become registered childminders.
