The BTEC 90 Credit Diploma in Uniformed Public Services prepares for entry to, and career progression in, a range of services including the Armed Forces, Police and Emergency and Rescue Services. Students will study at least 9 modules during the course including politics, leadership, psychology,citizenship, physical training, employment, criminology and outdoor activities. The theoretical units provide background knowledge essential for life in the public services. During the course students will be required to participate in visits to workplaces, residentials and expedition training which will involve overnight stays. BTEC Level 3 programmes consist of 2 years of study, with a BTEC 90 Credit Diploma achieved in the first year and BTEC Extended Diploma in the second year.
