This flexible qualification aims to build on and recognise good practice in customer service within any industry. It will help those dealing with internal or external customers to gain knowledge, understanding and experience of dealing with different types of customers and be confident in their use of language and of the customer service process. Candidates will have the opportunity to improve their own skills and support others in their team or organisation in the development of excellent customer service. The themes available for this course deal with the foundations of customer service, impression and image, customer service delivery and handling problems; from which two mandatory units must be completed and a range of optional units to be selected by the candidate.
