City and Guilds Welding Skills

This course is suitable for welders who want to update their skills and continue to learn new welding processes. There are three course options available covering different welding processes. Choose from:- Manual Metal Arc (MMA) Welding - Plate.- Manual Metal Arc (MMA) Welding - Pipe.- Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welding. The course teaches the principles and practice of welding expanding on the essential skills developed at Level 2.

Name: City and Guilds Welding Skills Qualification title: Award in Advanced Welding Skills (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment There are five test pieces to complete which will be completed during the year and assessed in the workshop. A final multiple-choice assessment will complete the qualification. You will be taught through practical demonstration supported by relevant underlying theoretical information.
