This is an ideal course for those interested in the history and study of the English Language. This course will introduce you to how the English Language originated how it is used and how it continues to change. English Language is aimed at students who are interested in the power of language and its place in the world. You may wish to study English Language alongside English Literature particularly if you wish to become a teacher of English or perhaps combine it with complementary subjects such as History Law or one of the science subjects.
