This course is aimed at students who are already inspired by the production and creation of games and are willing to work hard towards a career in a very competitive industry. The course requires a high level of creative ability with students showing a willingness to explore new subjects enthusiastically and will give a taste of many aspects of Game Development including practical units in:- Games Design.- 2D Animation.- Digital Graphics.- 3D Modelling.- Concept Art.- 3D Animation.- Games Engines.- Story Development. It also includes production units such as:- Research Techniques.- Pre-production.- Communication Skills.- Production Management.- Working to a Brief. Finally it has several theoretical units including:- Understanding the Games Industry. - Critical Approaches to Games. This course is a balance of units to simulate a game studio environment.
