Law - Access to Higher Education Diploma

This Access to HE Diploma course is designed to provide you with the necessary knowledge and academic skills to study a law degree or diploma course at university. The College is working in partnership with the University of Law in London, to plan a range of visits and activities throughout the academic year 2014 - 2015, specifically for Access to Law students.Places are available for the LL.B (Hons) starting in September 2016 subject to students passing the course with a tutor recommendation. The University are also offering bursaries for some students on Access and the opportunity for one student to receive free tuition for the first year. The Law route is for those who wish to progress onto degrees which will lead on to careers in the legal professions, or law-related fields such as business, management, human resources, local and central government, voluntary, community and advice organisations. You will register for the Access to HE Diploma (Humanities and Social Science). For this Diploma you will study academic Study Skills and Law. You will also choose 2 options from: English Literature, History, Philosophy, Psychology Politics or Sociology. You will also have a personal tutor who will support you during the year and will advise you on your applications to higher education institutions.
