This course covers a range of general and specialist IT units enabling students to gain the professional skills needed by businesses using IT systems. It is a requisite qualification for Foundation degrees or Higher National Diplomas at University. This course covers a range of general and specialist IT units. In Year 1, the course focuses on developing transferable employment skills in a variety of business and IT work related scenarios.The units studied include Communications, E-commerce and Computer Games Design. You will need 6 units to achieve the Subsidiary Diploma. Learners also have the opportunity to get Microsoft IT Academy certification in Access and Excel.
