Gain the skills employers demand Do practical work in state-of-the-art replica crime scenes, including pub and household settings Gain real-world insight from industry experts This course is for anyone who wishes to pursue a career as a Crime Scene Investigator or Forensic Scientist. Designed with the Metropolitan Police Directorate of Forensic Services, this course provides training in the most up-to-date methods of crime scene forensic theory and practice. Our dedicated mock crime scenes enable you to gain lots of practical experience obtaining forensic evidence from a range of replica crime scenes. As well as practical laboratory sessions, you will also participate in field exercises and role-play scenarios with police staff, including presenting in a court of law. You will learn from experienced Crime Scene Investigators and Forensic Scientists, as all of our lecturers have invaluable industry experience. As well as modules in forensic chemistry, bioscience and criminal justice studies, the programme also covers practical modules such as forensic photography and practical crime scene investigation.
