CL36 Spanish Near Beginners

Who is it for? The Near Beginners course is designed for those who had attended and completed, with success, a term or two with the Beginners’ group. What will I learn?  Learners will be able to use a variety of topics at Beginners A2 level whilst acquiring a basic knowledge of the structure of the language.  Previous knowledge will be reinforced and used as a springboard for new material. The new topic is: ¿Dónde está? Topics areas: asking and giving directions, describing where you are, talking about distances and positional vocabulary, and working with prepositions. Speaking, listening, reading and writing skills will be developed. Course outcomes: Learners will be able to: - Identify a range of familiar spoken phrases. - Identify the main points from a short spoken passage. - Ask and answer simple questions and give basic information. - Recognize and read written phrases. - Identify the main points from a short written text in A1-A2 level.
