Woodcarving Improvers

UPDATED 20160613 07:57:45

New learners will be taught the basics of woodcarving, the correct way to hold tools and the thought processes needed to visualise a design. Inspiration will be gained from books and by using the Internet, as well as looking at the work of established carvers. Returning learners will have the opportunity to further develop their skills. All learners will understand the care and use of carving tools and will be able to enjoy the satisfaction of creating a new piece of work - all within a friendly social group.
