This is a friendly mixed ability art class where you will learn about painting and drawing. This term we will concentrate on flowers within different settings. Including gardens woodland and still life. The subjects will involve composition perspective tone texture and colour mixing produced using watercolour and acrylic paints. You will experiment with different techniques including wet into wet layering glazing and dry brushing. You will receive lots of guidance demonstrations and step-by-step tuition from Maggie. The course is suitable for complete beginners or improvers everyone is welcome. Students will need their own equipment and materials for the first session you will need watercolour materials including paper paints and brushes mixing palette pencil and board support. Later in the term we will be using acrylic material
