The Extended Diploma is equivalent to 3 A levels. Students study 8 core units and 10 specialist units, which include Equality, Diversity and Rights; Communication; Anatomy and Physiology; Health Education; Nutrition; Lifespan Development; Sociology; Psychology; Health and Safety. As part of the study programme all students who have not achieved a GCSe at C grade in both English and Maths will be expected to undertake this. For those students who have these qualifications you will participate in activities designed to complement your studies.Telford College can offer students highly qualified and experienced staff with an excellent track record of student success.
