Who is it for? For those new to using an iPad or those who want to put it to better use? These lessons are designed for beginners and will cover the basic settings to how you can move or delete an app. There are tips that will help you get the most out of the iPad and perhaps even teach your friends a neat trick or two! What will I learn? Apple's iPad and iPad mini are popular tablets that have changed the way we use computers. This course is designed to help individuals get over the initial fear and access the benefits that technology brings, whether that is better communication, access to the internet for hobbies and research or taking and editing photos and more! The session will take place in a relaxed learning environment and be delivered by an experienced and enthusiastic IT tutor. Course outcomes: At the end of the course you should be able to: • Identify common icons/basics of using an iPad • Discover some really useful applications to install and use • Create, reply to and add attachments to emails • Carry out effective searching using Safari, create bookmarks, delete history • Take and edit photos • Manage contacts and your calendar • Write and edit notes • And much more!
