The level 2 Fitness Instructor Theory certificate provides the underpinning knowledge for all practical instructor courses. This course is a requirement in order to gain the full qualification as a Gym Exercise to Music Children's Fitness or Aqua Instructor. You will learn through both theory and practical sessions taught by a team of highly qualified professional and experienced teachers trainers and assessors and you will be assessed through multiple choice examination.This course is offered at both South Devon College and Newton Abbot Leisure centre and is available in the afternoons the evenings or as an intensive short course. The fitness instructor theory can be delivered via elearning which is the same qualification as above however rather than attending taught sessions you can work through the units at your own pace from home online. This option will not be suitable for all so please discuss this with a tutor at your interview. The units covered are: 1. Anatomy & physiology for exercise2. Health safety & welfare3.
