This course is designed to Advance your skills and knowledge in Carpentry & Joinery and provide you with a Level 3 Diploma qualification. Entry requirements for this course include successful completion of a Level 2 qualification in Carpentry and Joinery and a good understanding of the construction Industry. There is opportunity to follow either the Site Carpentry or Bench Joinery route with this qualification and for candidates who are employed in the industry, you can also gain an NVQ Level 3 providing you can supply sufficient work-based evidence of competence. An additional fee will be required for the NVQ assessment. During this course you will undertake a series of units including Carry out first fix roofing and stairs Carry out second fixing double doors and mouldings Manufacture shaped doors and frames Manufacture stairs with turns. The course is based in the well-equipped facilities at our South West Skills Campus in Weston-super-Mare, just south of Bristol.
