You will develop a broad range of ICT skills and knowledge of the uses of ICT in real life contexts and develop knowledge and understanding of the components, functions and applications of information systems within a range of organisations. You will understand the main principles involved in solving problems using ICT and apply your knowledge and understanding of ICT and skills in planning, research, evaluation and problem solving to real life contexts. You will engage in learning that is relevant to you and which provides opportunities to develop a range of skills and techniques, personal skills and attributes essential for successful performance in working life. All assessment is based on achieving criteria in each unit at Pass, Merit or Distinction level.
