Our uniformed military academy and public services courses (MAPS) will put you on the road to a great future. Whether your goal is to join Royal Navy, British Army, RAF or one of the blue light services such as the Police, Ambulance Service, Paramedic, RNLI, HM Coastguard, or Fire and Rescue you can be sure that you'll be doing something more than just a job. All of our lecturers are serving or former members of the armed forces or public services. With over 50 years of experience, they will give you invaluable tips and a real insight into working in your chosen field. The programme is portfolio based therefore there are no examinations. All theory and practical assessment will be conducted in the class room or out-doors as suitable. Learners will undertake practical military or vocational training and education in order to equip them with the necessary skills to enable them to make decisions on which service to apply for. Alongside the main qualification learners will undertake GCSE or functional skills in English and/or maths dependant on their entry qualifications.
