The Access to Higher Education Diploma is a nationally recognised qualification that provides students with the entry requirements for most higher education degrees. It consists of a minimum of 20 units of study which include Study Skills, English and Maths GCSE equivalences, ICT and a range of subject specific units. As a part of this course students will also be provided with tutorial guidance which focuses on UCAS applications, preparing your finances for university study. Although this is essentially a progression course into university study, many of our learners use this learning opportunity to prepare for the world of work and possibly part time Foundation degree (Fda) engagement. The college study time is designed around people with family/work commitments i.e. start times are in line with school start times.
