Geographical Information Systems

This course is for anyone who wishes to develop a basic knowledge and understanding of Geographical Information Systems. The course is aimed primarily at novice GIS users but would suit anyone who uses geographical data and who is reasonably IT-literate. You may work in the public or private sector or simply wish to increase your skills base and employability in this exciting new and developing area. This course will equip you with the basic skills and an understanding of how to successfully use GIS in the context of your work environment as an aid to decision making.
