The BTEC Extended Diploma in Fashion and Textiles is an exciting and highly practical 2 year course, ideal for students aiming to progress towards higher education or for those who would like to find employment related to the field of fashion and clothing. If you are someone who is interested in following or finding out about fashion trends, or someone who wants to work within the field of clothing and textiles, this course is for you. It is designed to challenge, encourage and develop your creative skills in this field. In addition, if you are interested in studying at university, the course will allow you to go straight into degree level study, avoiding the need for an extra year studyin g for an Art Foundation Diploma (which you would need to do if you study A levels). This course is free for students under 19 years of age and students who are under 24 years of age who haven't previously received a full level 3 qualification.
