This qualification aims to develop your knowledge and understanding of airline operations and aviation operations on the ground. You will learn the importance of health, safety and security procedures in the aviation industry and be introduced to the different terminology used. You will identify airport locations and the types of flights handled by each airport, the passengers using scheduled and chartered flights and key destinations for each group. You will understand how to deal with customer complaints and incidences. The qualification enables you to understand the importance of teamwork and you will have the opportunity to start developing team working skills. You will identify your personal skills, qualities, qualifications and experiences and relate them to potential job roles in the aviation industry.
