This course runs on Saturday mornings. This course is perfect if you are a complete beginner or have limited welding knowledge, Ideal if you want to learn a new skill, if you are creative, if you want to repair your own car or even a garden gate. On this course you will gain a basic understanding of the different Welding processes used in industry and at home. You can choose from some or all of the following welding processes including: - MMA-Manual Metal ARC (Stick) - MAGS-Metal Arc Gas Shielded (Mig) - TIG-Tungsten Inert Gas - GAS-Oxy-Acetylene You could cover Flat and Horizontal/Vertical (downhand), single weld beads, re-joining of runs, build-up weld runs to form a weld pad, welding Tee fillet and Butt welds, Inside and Outside Corner Joints on 1.6 - 6mm thick mild steel.
