This course is the first step for learners who are looking at starting a career in the Hairdressing industry. You will learn the basic techniques of shampooing & conditioning, cutting, styling, and / or colouring & perming alongside customer care, health & safety and retail product knowledge & sales. This hairdressing certificate gives you the basic techniques and experience to start a career in the hairdressing industry. The study program will consist of practical salons and classroom based theory sessions. There will be theory written papers taken in exam conditions and practical assessments which are carried out during practical lessons on paying clients.
