ITQ This course is ideal for those who only have a very basic knowledge of using a computer or those who wish to improve their skills. The course will run for 4 consecutive days and at the end of the course you will take an assessment in the module/s you have studied that week. You will be enrolled for 2 consecutive weeks and at the end of that time you should have completed the 3 modules required. This course is free if you are looking for work and in receipt of a state benefit (including National Insurance credits only) Please bring photographic proof of identity to your first session. If you don't have photographic ID please bring two other forms of identity eg Bank card, Bank statement, utility bill, Council tax bill Attendance at ALL sessions is essential. If you miss a session you may be asked to leave the course. What will I learn? Word Processing Spreadsheets and Graphs Presentation (PowerPoint) You will learn a broad range of skills using Microsoft Office 2010 and Microsoft Windows 7. You will also learn about health and safety when using a computer ECDL This course offers you the chance to achieve an ECDL qualification ECDLL is an internationally recognised qualification, which enables learners to demonstrate their competence in computer skills. It also increases employability for jobs requiring ICT skills. A number of organisations have adopted ECDL as the standard for their employees. This course is run over 4 consecutive days. You should achieve all 4 units within that time.
