If you are highly motivated and have a desire to succeed then this course is ideal if you are new to the industry or if you already have skills in women's hairdressing. You will learn new skills that will enable you to work as a barber in this ever-expanding industry. The course provides an opportunity for you to develop a variety of practical, theoretical and employment skills, whilst gaining underpinning knowledge of the barbering industry. As part of the course you will work on male blocks and male clients in our commercial salons to gain experience and develop your skills. In-house competitions and inter college competitions will be implemented to help you gain confidence and the opportunity to take part in external competitions will be available. Visiting guest speakers from the industry may run workshops and give advice. So what better place to start your career than in our real working environment commercial salons, where you will be working on clients from the beginning, learning to run your own column and learn how to manage your commercial targets.Duration: 1 year
