This well-structured programme is designed for students with basic sewing skills to learn and develop some essential sewing and pattern cutting techniques to prepare them for employment or self-employment in the fashion industry. Through exercises in class. you will learn how to construct a skirt block and a variety of stylistic variations. as well as some key garment making techniques and processes. Homework each week will help to reinforce learning. Students wishing to further develop their skills in this area are able to build upon this learning by continuing their studies on the follow on certificate programme.
