Our Diploma courses lead to nationally recognised qualifications that enable successful students to progress onto degree level study at University. The Humanities and Social Sciences Diploma programme is the most suitable route for you if you are looking to go on to study a degree in subjects such as: Psychology. English Literature and/or Language. History. Politics. International Relations and/or Development studies. Sociology. Criminology. Law. African and Caribbean studies or other similar subjects. Over recent years are students have successfully progressed on to high-ranking Universities throughout the United Kingdom. such as: Oxford. Cambridge. King?s College London. The London School of Economics. Brunel. Goldsmiths. Queen Mary. Sheffield and York. We also have a particularly close relationship with the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and Birkbeck. On the Humanities and Social Sciences Diploma. you will study core modules in Study Skills. which will enable you to develop the essential skills you will need to be a successful student at University. along with a choice of three modules from the wide range of options that we offer on this programme. If the degree you are aiming to study will require you to have GCSE or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English. you will also have the opportunity to achieve these qualifications within your programme of study. You will receive extensive support throughout the course. including guidance around all aspects of your University application. The optional modules that can be taken on the course are as follows: African and Caribbean Studies (we are the only College in London that offers this course) Anthropology English Literature History Philosophy Politics Psychology Sociology
