The Extended Certificate is for anyone interested in learning about modern engineering technologies and their applications in the real world. The course will develop your knowledge, understanding and skills across a wide range of engineering subjects. An academic tutorial session is available 2 evenings a week between 19.00 and 20.30 hours, at no extra cost. Although course books are not mandatory, tutors will recommend text books for their subjects during induction. The units for the Certificate are delivered during the first term of the Subsidiary Diploma so that if a learner leaves early they can still be acredited with a meaningful qualification.
