This course provides students wishing to join the construction industry as carpenters with the broad knowledge, understanding and skills to become qualified within Site Carpentry. Course units range from Know how to carry out safe working practices in construction to knowledge of information, quantities and Communicating with others. The qualification has been developed for delivery in a training environment; this means that you do not need to be employed to study this qualification. It has been designed to develop your skills, knowledge and understanding so you can work in Site Carpentry in the construction industry or progress to further training. The qualification supports the Learner to attain enabling, fundamental and transferable practical skills with associated underpinning knowledge
