This 23 week course which develops skills in Hairdressing is for students wanting to gain a well recognised qualification or to extend their current skills. The course runs over two evenings per week. The hairdressing units at Level 1 range from Shampooing and Conditioning to styling, application of colour and creating an image. You must ensure your attendance remains above 90% to enable you to be successful on your course.

There are external exams for some units, these are multiple choice questions taken online.
