You will learn to: Write clearly (using joined writing where they wish to learn this), use capitals & full stops (and some other punctuation marks), write in sentences, write a short letter, spell words you use regularly, use a thesaurus, contribute to a class newsletter or magazine, plan draft and check their own work using skills learnt during the course, use a public library, read for pleasure & find information (for example find a programme in a TV guide), use a dictionary to find the meanings of words, read with increased fluency & accuracy, apply these skills to life & work.
